Our client is an organisation that works with Primary schools in England and Wales, supplying them with the best subject specialists delivering dance, music, drama, art, PE and modern foreign languages. They are currently looking for an Educational Sales Consultant to join a hugely successful market leading education service provider in Cardiff area. The role is a full time position but however your hours will correspond with normal school terms times except to attend meetings/training courses for the occasional day/days during school holidays – Days to be agreed.
The Role :
• The main part of your role will be winning new schools and building a pipeline of future primary school opportunities. You will be required to make your own face to face sales meetings with primary head teachers (All contacts that you are selling to are busy people so persistency and tenacity are key requirements to gaining face to face appointments), present at cluster meetings and attend head teacher conferences.
• Reporting to the sales manager but working closely with the rest of the sales/operational team. In particular supporting the General Managers for whom you will be winning new business within new schools and then working together with them to identify and close up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
• You will be based from our Cardiff office and will be travelling around Wales winning new business selling a unique curriculum solution and ideally have experience of working with KPI’s with a proven track record of exceeding individual sales targets.
• You will be responsible for producing daily, weekly and monthly sales reports and experience of CRM software and MS office suite would be an advantage.
• An ambitious, dedicated, organised and efficient individual with strong presentation skills, interpersonal skills, social skills and “gravitas” with customers, particularly at Head teacher and SMT level.

Desirable knowledge/experience/requirements:
• Educational Sales and or recruitment sales experience
• Experience of selling to primary school head teachers
• Familiar with CRM software
• Familiar with MS office suite
• Experience of working with KPI’s
